Always nice to see people doing good things for others

There are a lot of local groups that accept gently used dress clothes to help others with dressing for interviews. Some even provide training

google Dress for Success in your area. They accept clothes , shoes, purses, jewelry , etc.

a few million an at what point do you stand up?

Props to Mike and Jamelle for mentioning this,i guess every other show on ESPN to busy talking about Joe Mixon.

Kaep is out here donating suits, while Stephen A said he wouldn't have a problem with the league suspending and not paying Mixon for the whole season.

Did he explain why he said that?

Just because of what happened, he still feels like Mixon deserves some type of punishment from the league. I used to like Molly but she became a self righteous bitch during this bullshit, and Max is using the same tactics when they vilify black men.

None of his critics contributed with him to show solidarity and unity to help make things better but respect the flag though

That's because the majority of the critics don't think there is an issue or either they agree with a lot of the social injustice.

I didn't expect most to like his stance and the way he brought attention to this stance but I will say I'm a bit saddened more black athletes were silent while he was getting roasted by the media

Oh I know. I was being sarcastic. Some of them claimed they would like to talk and fight injustice another way, but none of them setup up a time and place to contribute. Just a bunch of hypocrites and cowards hiding behind supposed "patriotism" for an inanimate object such as the flag.

At the end of the day these are athletes if they choose to stand up then great. If not it shouldn't be held against them. Not everybody is built for that life.

And again not everybody has interest in protesting for social issues. Especially when they have financial responsibilities and potentially getting blackballed. It's easy for you to say that every black athlete should stand up, but you don't have shit to lose in comparison to these guys.

Nah it ain't that simple. People should help in the way that suits them best. You can't get mad at people for not moving how YOU want them to. As long as they're moving then that's all that matters. Look at a person like LeBron. He's often criticized for not being as outspoken as people want, but at the same time can't one person look at what he does for young black kids and say he's not doing his best to have a positive impact on a bunch of their lives...and also as we've seen from plenty of athletes not all of them should be speaking up and out about certain issues simply because they don't know enough. Somebody being good at sports isn't enough of a reason to expect them to lead anything other than their team on the court/field.

Not everyone of them are stars. A lot of them have responsibilities to their families and people depending on them. Just as long as they have awareness of self and do what they can that's all that matters. I don't look to athletes for social issues anyway.
