*Salutes*

One of the best albums of the year and J. Cole produced 99% of it himself.

Beats and rhymes was on point and he kept the guests to a minimum so I applaud the project and I'm looking forward to his next one.

FNL is not better than the CWSS, that album had way too many songs and recycled beats from other artist. Big difference in making a album targeted at selling albums and all original material, from a mixtape.

only three out of 20 songs on the album were from other artists: "Back To The Topic", "Villematic", "Best Friends"

The mixtape flows like an album and its one of the best hip hop mixtapes/albums released in the last two years

See World = Pac's "Pain"
Too Deep for Intro = Erykah Badu "Didn't cha know"

That's damn near half the album when you include Looking for Trouble.

i see you need to work on your math

1. "Friday Night Lights" (Intro) J. Cole 1:45
2. "Before I'm Gone" J. Cole 4:24
3. "You Got It" (featuring Wale) J. Cole 4:47
4. "Enchanted" (featuring Omen) J. Cole, Omen 4:11
5. "Blow Up" J. Cole 5:00
6. "Higher" J. Cole 3:49
7. "In the Morning" (featuring Drake) L&X Music 3:54
8. "2Face" Syience
9. "The Autograph" J. Cole
10. "Cost Me a Lot" J. Cole
11. "Premeditated Murder" J. Cole
12. "Home for the Holidays" J. Cole
13. "Love Me Not" J. Cole
14. "Farewell" J. Cole
15. "Looking for Trouble" (featuring Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean & CyHi da Prynce) (Bonus track) Kanye West

still flows like an album, still one of the best mixtapes/albums released in the last two years, still better than Cole World

[EDIT]: the tracklisting could be fixed to make it flow better but whatever

Listen dude, you have to take into account shit like sample clearance issues. Alot of songs that were to make it on Sideline Story couldn't get cleared, a lot of the NO ID tracks didn't. What makes you think all those FNL tracks would even get cleared and the album would of come out with the tracks that made it on to the mixtape.

Big fucking difference in releasing music without having to worry about yellow tape shit (sample clearance) and big difference in not having to worry about "singles" placement on a mixtape. If FNL would of come out with the tracklising you listed, it would of bricked sales wise.

i think niggas need to realize what you said is a given and the norm. we should all be able to put on our big boy pants and figure this out by now. even Krit said it's a big difference making an album b/c of getting samples cleared.
