u know how many white people who look like businessmen or white collar office workers travel through the hood to buy drugs? why do u think a lot of people who live in the hood see a white person and think theyre either buying drugs/prostitutes or they are cops? even cops think white people are there to buy drugs. how come u dont see that shit happening in white neighborhoods even tho whites partake in what the hood was set up to offer?

the quality of schools in the hood are very poor, jobs are scarce and the jobs blacks can find usually make money for some white dude who sits at the top of it all. with poor education and low income and poor quality of foods, liquor stores everywhere it becomes a high stress environment and we see the results.

only thing i can say is the majority of people i know on section 8 (non blacks included) along with food stamps seem content with not pursuing a greater future or seeking higher education. but it seems even blacks who go and get a degree still face the struggle of discrimination when applying for jobs.......

So you are going to ignore my post where blacks are going to college at higher rates than most races. Regardless of the facts, people are going to put this in our face and our crime rates are dropping down and down. Regardless to change our image would have to reverse racism and take hundreds of years of perfect behavior, not gonna happen. Dude please next time you quote me and expect a counter-response, read my post in its entirety thank you. With that said, you need to account for the generation gap. You cannot compare foreigners who come here to work in less than stellar jobs to those who go to school and earn a degree. Every one of my friends (I'm Ghanaian and my circle of friends include other Africans/Indians/Pakistanians etc) has a college degree with about 90% of those degrees earned in the sciences.

When i first got here in 2001, my mom worked 2 jobs same as my pops (i'll go on a limb to say 80% of African older adults do this). Do you really think i have the option of fucking up seeing my parents bust their asses of to put a plate on the table, then turn around and blame the white devil?
