Normally, I assume this kind of shit is just feelings being caught, but megacooning from this faggot would not surprise me.
Meh, just watched the video. If niggas are crying about the five points he dropped, it seems more like feelings.

I don't cosign 4 or care too much about 5, but there's nothing too groundbreaking or radical here:
1. Don't have babies if the father won't be around

2. Finish school

3. Don't litter

4. Don't use "nigga"

5. Don't sag pants

Times were worst for black folks when we did dress better. Dudes were putting on suits just to go to the store and shit and had to worry about possibly being lynched or something. I want to see somebody talk about this more.

it's sad when, as a black man, if you state your opinion on race and it is constructive, you are beat down. You essentially have to pander to the masses and keep things the same to be accepted. I used to be pissed when Jordan and other athletes and entertainers with a platform didn't speak up but I can understand why now. Niggas don't want the truth. They don't want to acknowledge that they have a hand in their own destruction. If we fix ourselves, it doesn't matter what Whites say or do, but for some reason, niggas miss that point of Lemon's segment. So after a couple days, niggas will go back to being niggas and complain about the White man oppressing again, instead of getting an education, becoming positive role models, and building legacies in spite of what whites do SMH

I thought one of the points he made was to not use the word nigga, don't call yourself one and you won't be one.

Sure, saying brotha is going to save us or saving my friend, my lover, my mother, my father and etc going to save us instead of saying nigga(I don't think we say that to our parents and elders I hope). But fuck it just say brotha or sista.

The whole point of nigga was to have commaraderie amongst other blacks going through the struggle, saying brotha, moor, fellow israelite and etc is one purpose not to intergrate and lose ourselves that is true death.

Times were worse back then because it was legal to fuck blacks up just because. We have equal protection (14th Amendment) now. And again, wearing suits or just dressing respectfully shouldn't be done to impress white folks. I don't know why that is the prevailing theme. Do that shit for yourself. We pretend like we don't feel a certain way when we're suited up in a nice, tailored suit or even look at others that are dressed well with a different eye than we do with a person dressed down. I'm not advocating for dudes to just rock suits everyday, but you have dudes that stand outside of athletes foot every couple months to spend ridiculous money on tennis shoes but don't have a decent suit to wear to an interview. SMH Where are our priorities???

^Oh no I agree with you, I was just making that point. I don't spend ridiculous money on anything anymore and I still dress well lol. I hope people do understand that they don't need to dress up to impress white folks, fuck them lol! I said earlier that you should do better for yourself not anybody else. Some dudes always say quit trying to impress these hoes...it's the same principal here too

I'm secure in myself if I wanna sag or not. You keep talking about jobs and jobs, but you just repeating rhetoric thats bullshit. Jobs and better jobs and more jobs aren't shit, businesses and successful businesses are the thing. I talked and discussed and learned from men who worked with big money and the mindset is not the education, that will just let you know your terms better, but the real deal is understanding the politics, the math, the mindset, the drive and etc will get you there. These dope boys know how more about business then your average legal joe.

What I'm getting at this bullshit smile and face society means is that Black Americans are more American than anyone else, think about that.

I definitely believe there are both African Americans and niggas. It's the inclusion of all Blacks as niggas that is the isue. At least for me

You believe that me speaking on jobs is rhetoric??? African Americans collectively are disproportionately poor. Where will this money to create businesses come from?? They handing out reparations anytime soon?? Are banks going to start lending more to Blacks?? You speak about dope boys and that's part of the problem. We walk into traps knowing that they are set. We already have a huge target on our back but we'll go and do illegal shit KNOWING they watching us. That's the mentality that neds to change. That same drive and mindset you speak of could go towards uplifting us instead of killing us. Essentially what he was talking about

No one goes to a job interview with sagging pants. No one goes to work in the business world with sagging pants.

the youth should feel comfortable being who they are they want to sag let them sag. I don't get your point.

the "coon rhetoric" is only hurting everyone...

we can intelligently rebut his wack points and agree with his good ones or nah?

This is EXACTLY what I was trying to encourage with my line of questioning earlier in this thread. Some of y'all stepped up and did just that.

Dude, you are a clueless for one and when I mean dope boys, I do not mean illegal and legal, what I mean the mindset the hard work, knowing how to work with people, measuring the prices, the distribution, providing a service or product, connections, working with others, a structure and etc is a fucking business dummy. If that was translated to legal work they would be considered genius businessmen but you just refer them as common thugs.

If you could better your time and make something practical and reasonable as to why to leave their lifestyles and give them something they can better win with, you are just speaking bullshit. Be a good citizen and hope and pray they will allow you to work some mediocre job while your depreciating. This is the crazy shit you have when a nation lives within another nation and they are the smaller one. You have to give them a way out and use their talents in a legal manner, if you talk about business classes, ways to get grants, loans to build businesses, work with them to make a better reasonable solution, then you will have them.

Quit speaking on integrating and it is never about self when it comes to sagging, it's a fucking clothing style that dominate society doesn't like and hates. If everyone sag and it just another cultural norm, you wouldn't be saying SHIT!

We'll agree to disagree since ya'll think I'm trolling. An open an honest dialogue isn't what's wanted, which is unfortunate. Keep shit how it is. Things are working perfectly in the hood
