I listened to it, Project Pat might be up there with Mystikal in terms of having one of the dopest unorthodox flows but his flow is comical at the same time. #shrugs

The album has a real country charm to it. The album is at its best when Pat is switching his flow up on songs like Cheese & Dope and when he is just riding the beat with that unorthadox flow on songs like We Can Get Gangsta, Life We Live or North North. The ultra slow flow he used on So Hi and the rudimentary beat wasted a dope hook and the slower one he used on Aggrevated Robbery was meh it grew on me by songs end though.

The Dr Suess rhymes were just to blatant, the nigga really started the 2nd verse of Ooh Nothing with "Ring around the rosey pocket full of poseys" he also went on to drop "Jimmy Crack Corn ima bust on her nipples" in the same verse even though I fucked with North North the nigga said "When I blickery, hickory dickery".

Whole Lotta Weed is a 4 min full hood nursery rhyme.

Him and LaChat going back to back on Chicken Head was funny asf very well crafted by them the exchange between the two is a definite highlight of the album. An overwhelming majority of the other guest features are borderline terrible Crunchy Black verse on Dont Save Her is the worst offender and his other 2 verses on the album are just as bad. Lord Infamous hook on So High was dope asf as I mentioned earlier. The problems with the features are on full display on the posse cut Fuckin With The Best Dj Paul, Crunchy Black and Lord Infamous were utter trash. LaChat and T Roc held it down tho.

Id give the album a 6\10 Project Pat is dope, as a solo artist his crew drags the album down once they touch the mic. Thats where the biggest problem lies half of the songs have features from the crew and 75% of those features are wack as fuck along with the straight dud in So High, most of the other songs being forgetable and the verbatim nursey rhymes, sonically the album is meh, the album dosnt flow, there is no way this album is classic imo. That being said it aint better than WATS. I would check for more solo Pat shit though and ill throw the songs I mentioned on my playlist.

As promised

My nigga not only listened, he wrote a review. A coherent one at that. With that said... I respect your opinion, Mista Don't Play is still better than this lox album.
