It's a personal classic. Idk if its a bonafide Hiphop classic. If i was asked this in 07 it would've been yes. But as time has gone by as a whole bth hasn't aged as well. I still bump my favorites. I agree with one of the earlier posts blu was Kendrick b4 Kendrick. But he fell off so hard it's hard not to factor that in when thinking bout bth either.

U don't think about the artist when critiquing their work? I mean I get ur point but all in all I stated my opinion about bth. It didn't age well enough to be a classic regardless of blu's career or other work.

Blu has had great success, performs at every rock the bells, paid dues, sometimes soundset. He could do more big releases but for some reason he prefers putting his albums out himself at random times with no press. He's kinda like jay electronica with his music but he actually puts out albums just doesnt tell no one about it lol. He's got a good sized fan base for an underground rapper, has good reviews on most his music.

I dunno i could be wrong tho, he may have failed to capitalize off of bth, but the way he just gives away his music i dont think he's really concerned with fame or money.
