You will never find albums that sound as good or are as creative as any of the following. All of the albums listed stand on their own. Naturally I can't list everything so here are albums that affected me deeply as a hip hop fan.

Amerikkkas Most Wanted, and Death Certificate (Ice Cube)

Only Bulit 4 Cuban Links

Enter Da Stage

Illmatic and It Was Written

Ready 2 Die ( didn't blow me away but I see how it did for others).

Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, The Black Album

Enter the 36 Chambers

Outkast - Southernplayalistic...... and Atliens

Marshall Mathers LP

Common - Resurrection, One Day It Will All Make Sense

93 til Infinity

Roots - Do you want more!?

Aceyalone - All Balls Don't Bounce, A Book of Human Language

Pete Rock and CL Smooth - Mecca and the Soul Brother and The Main Ingredient

The Chronic (I didn't care for it too much but I can't deny the impact)

Doggystyle

Funcrusher Plus

Cypress Hill

21 and Over

Gangstarr - Hard 2 Earn and Daily Operation

I could do this all day. I was raised on Hip Hop...........mainstream, underground, however you want it I'm in the conversation.
