What difference do it make what a Christian feels? Where does the Bible condemn the possessing of a weapon? It's not the weapon it's how it's used.

The Word of God is referred to as being a weapon itself in scripture and Christians are told to use it. But Negros don't feel that there.

Not only are we to take care of our bodies and the life contained. We have an obligation to preserve the body and life of other people. Psalm 82:4 even cites an obligation to protect those who are in danger:

Psalm 82:4 Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

Consider also Proverbs 24:11, which indicates we have a duty to preserve the lives of those who are harming themselves:

Proverbs 24:11 Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.

Ezekiel 33 is a well-known passage:

Ezekiel 33 "... 6 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.'

If you know danger is coming to others, and you deliberately fail to warn the others of the danger, you are guilty of harming the victims. This is not to say that you can make people heed your warning. The surrounding verses also say that if the people refuse to heed the warning of the watchmen, the watchman is not guilty if they are harmed.

so it may be safe to say that if you fear DEATH, then your faith in God needs to be a tad bit stronger

People who fear death are the same people who would deny Jesus in the face of persecution

You like to take scripture out of context so let me get it straight for you: those passages were merely talking about taking revenge, giving people what YOU or ME think they deserve..those have nothing to do with SELF DEFENSE. Prime example: A relative of yours gets killed in the street. You possibly know who did it and want to take revenge for your murdered relative and put the justice in your own hands. That is what that verse means.

So if a man was coming at you full speed with a knife ready to cut into you WANTING TO KILL YOU and you had a gun in your hand, would you pull the trigger or turn the other cheek? Don't sit there and lie and say the latter.

I never said I chose to be born, to be alive...don't put words in my mouth.

I said I choose to live life(put Him first, work, take care of my family and give them a better quality of life), which means I choose to work with whatever is presented for me and make it to reach that better quality. You know like the old saying "if life gives you lemons, make lemonade" in that sort. You haven't even scratched the surface on what free will truly is because you're too busy trying to figure out the mechanics. But I choose not to and whatever good or bad, I roll with the punches regardless.
