Finally learned how to play a few years back but my girl got tired of me talking shit when winning and never played with me again :/

I think most people have this perception that chess is hard to pick up but its actually pretty easy, developing your strategy and how you see the board takes practice though

Real shit I wish I would have picked up when I was younger, I didnt start playing until after high school. I think it should be apart of the school curriculum because its a great mental excercise, makes you more tactical and really shows how important it is to see the big picture and plan ahead
