It's kind of hard to decifer with him beating around the bush but basically, there were/are unresolved issues surrounding J.Cole said on wax around the time he got signed, coinciding with Charles Hamilton's freestyle towards Jay-Z saying "There's a 'J' on your label whose better than you". There was some miscommunication on Hamilton's end and I wouldn't be surprised if Jay Electronica's name is somehow implicated.
