Neill Blomkamp films are always worth a watch, and even when his concepts somewhat fail (eg Elysium) his films still outdo the majority of sci-fi and action films currently churned out of Hollywood. Compare Chappie to Short Circuit all you want off the trailer, he's an intelligent enough filmmaker to make this film worth a watch.
