I don't know the mapping of the shooting or where officers died at, but it wouldn't be hard. Cops at protests stand and mingle in groups often. Wouldn't be hard to shoot towards groups of them just hoping to get lucky.

The media reports made it seem as if there were multiple shooters on the ground and rooftops.

I think it's because of the gun shots echoing, so ppl assumed multiple gunmen. We have had multiple gunmen lately w these Isis shootings. So, we are becoming conditioned to immediately think this.

When the storm calms, that's when you figure it out.
