IMO partially because look at how black people fawn and just go crazy over so called "good hair" You still have black broads wanting to have babies with light skinned black or mixed dudes because they think they baby will have good hair, pretty light colored eyes and lighter skin.

The difference is that these half black/hispanic kids don't see that other half with any power.
