Comedian Ralphie May has died at the age of 45 ... TMZ has learned.

Ralphie had been battling pneumonia over the last week, but he kept performing.

Ralphie's stand-up comedy career took off after he finished second on "Last Comic Standing" in 2003. Since then he's had several televised comedy specials -- mostly on Netflix and Comedy Central -- and he's continued touring, almost nonstop, around the country.

In 2015 he and his wife Lahna Turner, also a comedian, filed for divorce. Ralphie was devastated by the split ... which got extremely nasty, especially when it came to the custody battle over their 2 kids.

‘BENSON’ ACTOR ROBERT GUILLAUME DEAD AT 89

Emmy award winning actor Robert Guillaume, most known for his role in Benson, died at his home Tuesday in Los Angeles. His widow, Donna Brown Guillaume, told the Associated Press he’d been battling prostate cancer.

Benson debuted on ABC in 1979 and ran until 1986. Variety says, “the butler slowly evolved to become a government official, deflecting early complaints by critics like the Washington Post’s Tom Shales that his character was a “male Mammy.”

Guillaume was also known as the the voice of Rafiki in The Lion King, for which he a won a Grammy for a spoken word recording.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Guillaume family.
