I love working with people named jake. I get to say "Jake! Jake!" all day long and nobody hardly ever gets it.

Wait till yall make a bet or let him borrow a dollar or some shit, "Jake give me that money".

so they make Jake's character black and Alonzo's white?....go figure

it would be better had they just did a spin-off with just Jake's character...and had it on cable TV like HBO or Showtime

It would be better if they just came with an original new cop drama instead of trying to ride off Training Day.

Should have done a show about Alonzo's turn to corruption. Follow him from a rookie to leading this band of corrupt officers, showing how he crossed the Russians in the final season and came to choose Jake.

definitely would have been more interesting if they made alonzo the opposite of ethan hawks characther focusing his rise through the lapd -- alonzo making all the wrong choices, descending morally as hes ascending within the department or even having ethan hawk as the seasoned veteran training a new cop

but cbs really prides themselves on their moral values to make a show about the irredeemable bad guy

itd be watered down like a mfer

on second thought i would love for cbs to go ahead and do this

they couldnt come within a country mile of the source material

i think it would be unintentionally hilarious

these tv execs have no shame. they will throw anything at the wall, to see if it sticks. meh. u couldn't pay me to watch this.

They think they slick with the role reversal too. Imma slap somebody at cbs.

Son they really had the audacity to pull that shit like they did with Rush Hour. Blatantly trying to make black men seem weak on these shows smh.
