man whats up with all these white superheros. we need some black superheros.

I couldnt agree more, history still effects us today. Out of all those characters stan lee created the suits only allowed a few most of which are not even as popular as those well known. They could at least give us a STATIC flick.

While we're on topic about blacks in comics and such, why have people never acknowledged that Apocalypse is black??

Lol we discussed this in another thread I think, he aint really black, he's a mutant born with blue/grey skin.

Origin

En Sabah Nur was born nearly five thousand years ago in Egypt as a member of a tribe in Akkaba. Even as an infant, he inspired fear. Ugly and malformed, he was abandoned by the tribe to die in the harsh desert sun. However, a roving the Sandstormers, band of feared desert nomad raiders, slaughtered the population. Their leader, Baal, found the child crying and he recognized the potential power in the child. He named him En Sabah Nur, literally meaning "The First One", and raised him as his own son.

He's a mutant though which explains the skin, if he did not have the X-gene, he would in fact be black considering he's a 5,000 year old Egyptian.

Hank McCoy didn't always have fur if I'm not mistaken, he was a Caucasian male before he became Beast.

They never show his real parents, I guess it depends on the artist and how they portray him

He looks black in this one
