em did mention canibus first on his slim shady album but it is unclear if it is an actual diss canibus dissed em publicly first on fuck you off his 2nd album

it was a diss in response to eminem going to canibus' video shoot then canibus/clef being accused of writing for ll. the "cancerous" line may have more meaning than most people think. but eminem spoke canibus name a couple of times before that. remeber the second time he battled royce he talked about ll and canibus. there was also a old d-12 track where canibus name came up. so i would say eminem started it on wax. oh and if you listen to u didnt care, stan and eminem talk about meeting canibus on tim westwood you may be able to put this puzzle together. its all related to them meeting.
