It's the last days (the great tribulation to be exact) and the antichrist has revealed himself. He has entered into Jerusalem and now sits in the temple of God, declaring to the whole world that he is God. Now he has issued a decree and demanded that every man, women, and child must receive a mark in their hand or forhead or else they will be killed. Now can you imagine somebody actually receiving this mark and one day they stumble across a bible and read this passage of scripture.
"9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." Revelation 14:9-11
And then they actually see the Angel flying in the midst of heaven crying with a loud voice the same exact passage that they just read? Wow. I bet there will be countless individuals that will realize the error of their ways in this exact fashion. But by then it will be too late. There is no turning back once you receive the mark. You have pledged your allegiance to the beast (satan) and your eternal destiny has already been sealed. How tragic.
