Can We Admit That Juicy J Is A Top 5 Rapper At The Moment? (Not Overall)

No because he's not. Juice that nigga and his live shows are crazy. I'd pay to see him every 2 weeks and I bump his shit daily. But he doesn't have enough content to be top 5, he's great at what he does though and thats make bangers

The first three 3 6 Mafia albums are excellent. Mystic Stylez is a classic. Not to mention the underground volumes. The first one is incredible. Also, Memphis Underworld with 8 Ball and MJG. I don't really know what Juicy J or 3 6 is up to these days, but those early years were phenomenal ('91 - '97). The more commercial their sound got the more my interest waned. I liked that early horrocore shit they were on. Shit was outright haunting music. This was before they made "crunk" music. It was just straight up art.

Playing this on Spotify, the first track already sounds nice. Gangsta Boo sounds like her old self. Hope the rest of it is like this. Appreciate it.

hip hop is dead is Juicy J is top 5. its sad that Jay, Nas, Em still have the most power in the game :\

the Legends stopped at Kanye//Games 1st album? Kendrick wouldnt compete in early 00s sorry.

TiP isnt good enough, J cole is wack.

In terms of popularity and buzz i agree

but lyrically he is unoriginal, he lacks versatility and has shown very little growth as an artist

The GOAT

Well if "Baby Mama" is your excuse then troll somewhere else

bands a make her dance, dark horse, bounce it, we in this bitch

he's been on mad singles

U said he's "unoriginal", "lacks versatility", & "has shown little growth"

I can name tons of songs with Juice doin his thing. Sure he could use DJ Paul's co-assistance on making beats (his solo production is getting a little dry again even tho "Gun Walk" is the shit)

And sure "Stay Trippy" shouldve had a slightly shorter tracklist due to redundancy but by no means is Juicy J the way u described him.

Juicy J is the brains behind Three 6 & other Memphis acts. How is that not original? Plus he said on this new album that he's doing mainly a lot more storytelling.

ur gon get what ur gon get from juicy j, its been over 20 years, he's shown versatility imo tho, especially if u listen to his and paul's production or features on the other HCP artists albums

I remember when Juicy J bodied Jeezy & Yo Gotti on 4 What..........that nigga be going off on his features
