To be honest, I love Kanye but Pharrell and Chad are REAL musicians. Kanye made a name off getting old school music and updating it. He has some original gems like Devil in a New Dress and Runaway (recent shit) but for the most part that nigga is mad overrated and this is due to non original musicianship.

yes im aware they interpolated them songs (if you even know what that means) but how is that any more creative than sampling...in fact (especially in dres case) its less creative as they just straight jack it.....no chops or nothing...

if the music is good its good regardless of wether its sampled or created from scratch....i am not a fan of current kanye but his first album was a classic, that cannot be denied....or atleast it was an exceptional album..... i produce and a lot of my shit is centered around sampling, and if you dont sample, i dont think you will ever appreciate the amount of work that goes into sampling....digging alone can take hours, days, months...just to find that right sound....then you gotta sit down and listen to hours worth of samples, and then add your own shit to it....and then finally you gotta go through the same process that samplers and non-samplers go through of effects/mixing/dynamic processing/etc.

The GOAT producers that sample: Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, RZA, Kanye West, Pete Rock, Large Pro, Timbaland, Neptunes, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, Just Blaze, DJ Quik, Organized Noize, Alchemist, Madlib, J-Dilla (R.I.P.), Q-Tip, D.J. Paul and Juicy J, Pimp C, etc...

EVERYONE of these producers have sampled once or more in their careers and that's the majority of the game..recognize. Smh @ ShadyTeam and her bogus alias.
