No sorry because it's more about being a celebrity and fashion than the music.People call niggas great who don't even have albums out because someone else said it it's really fucking pathetic so no.

you mean heavy D and Mc hammer... or kris kross

maybe mase when he was on his flashy shit

or da brat

sir mix alot

the 69 boys- toosey roll

whoop there it is

getting jiggy with it

digital underground

the amount of bullshit in hip hop hasn't change.... just niggas didn't complain back in the day about it.

there's plenty of niggaz out there with talent if that's what you after then supported... stop bitching

stop downloading... cop an album cause only you the people could change the direction of hip hop.

plus I dont want to hear Lupe fiasco and nas at the club... The game needs balance and wether you like it or not

there's plenty of balance out there you just aint supporting it or just not opening your ears

Hip Hop in the mainstream is gonna be phased out to strictly pop music in 5 years and hip hop will remain strictly underground

It could be but it shouldnt. Hiphop is an art form when somethin gets stale its moves on to something more exciting and fresher. If you miss the old, listen to the old. There's alot of good rap out there, go buy it, support the right artist and those artist will get played.

90's has come to pass and so has that era of rap.. sadly artists today can try mimick it, but it'll never be that real 90's sound we once heard

Dont even want it to sound like it did whenever it "did" was. isnt that considered regressing instead of progressing?

It will never sound like it did in the 90's, thats the thing about time, nothing will every be as it was. Hip hop is fine, you just gotta search for it. Radio and T.V. is where the problem is and once the shit storm settles good shit will reign on the airwaves once again. IMO
