It was hard to ever imagine a time when Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey didn’t get along, during Friday night’s Diplomats concert in Manhattan’s Best Buy Theater, the last show of Red Bull Music Academy’s Five Out of Five tour of New York City’s five boroughs. The Diplomats’ bond seemed stronger than ever as they rocked the sold-out crowd in front a live band.

Getting the show underway with joints off of their 2003 double album Diplomatic Immunity such as “What’s Really Good,” the Harlem clique fired up the mixed crowd early. After that, Capo Jim Jones, who was sporting a Vampire Life black tee and all red Nike Air Force Ones, began his set that included “Summer In Miami,” “G’s Up” and “Baby Girl” from his solo album Harlem: Diary of a Summer and “Perfect Day” from his latest album Capo. Jones also brought out fellow Harlem native, up-and-comer ASAP Rocky.

Juelz picked up where Jimmy left off, doing his own set. Wearing a Slowbucks shirt just like most of the band behind him, Santana performed his tracks, such as “Shottas,” “Back to the Crib” and “Make It Work for You.” Still, when Juelz really shined was during the repeated technical difficulties that forced him to rap acapella, which actually electrified the crowd more so than when he rapped over a beat.

As Santana completed his set, Cam hit the stage next. The Diplomats’ leader performed some of his solo hits like “Down and Out” and “Wet Wipes,” but he really erupted the crowd when he brought out fellow U.N. member Vado who was rocking a yellow striped hoody. The two stirred up the crowd with “Speakin Tongues,” “Hey Muma” and “We All Up In Here”

“It’s a blessing,” Vado told XXLMag.com backstage about his chance to rock with the Dips. “Harlem in the building. It’s a movement.”

“We love it,” Freekey added. “It’s always good to be on that stage. The crowd still love us.”

damn the only time i see you post you got jay's dick in your mouth. you always got these mad conspiracy theories about whose baby beyonce is carrying that isn't jay-z. you're like the biggest stan ever ever

this aint no conspiracy theory. Juelz face gives it away. Jay Z supposed to be Mr. Big Pimpin, Mr. NYMP, Mr. 6am kickin them out and he got a 3rd party to help keep his bitch in check. If she really chose him why she letting hired help into the dressing room all star struck.? We can diss Nas all day for Carmen and Kelis but soon as somebody bring up Bey niggas wanna throw fits. How can niggas clown T Pain/MJW/Chris Johnson lol for marrying Superhead but Bey fuck just as many industry niggas when Jay Z wifed her. Dame was the hardest workin CEOs in them days after ether. he had to breastfeed Jay Z, Run SP to keep Roc relevant and had to babysit Beyonce in heat keeping niggas away from her.

they def are up there looking thirsty i aint heard 1 word about the album yet ... besides the storys that they are telling are missing one major FACT !!!!! THE OTHERSIDE OF THE STORY !!!!!! there are always two sides to the story ... and of course they gonna make thier end sound good ... if u ask me they kind of look stupid .......

#1 jay turned down cam for a video for welcome to ny ..... why?? cause outside of jayz verses that shit is wack beat and cams blam blam em verses on this song ... smh

#2 jay showed cam luv early in his career, and cam took that as an oppurtunity to ask to collab and jay turns him down lol ...... smh

#3 jayz stole cams beat first !!!!!!!!! lol H to the Izzo !!!!!!! lol ... what makes it even worse he had to hear it via an live performance on a awards show (cant remember the show) LOL !!!!! smh again !!!!!!!!!!!

if u ask me Cam heart is broken ... similar to the way Nas has been breaking Jayz heart his whole career turning him down for collabs video apperances etc .... LOL !!!!!

and once again im a cam fan ... especially SDE and pre-days !! stilll a fan today but not as much as i used to be ... def still checkin for Cam but not really with the laffy taffy cam blam blam rhymes smh ......
