It's a possibility he wanted to work with UGK. He was in NY a few days before he died and LA the night before he got shot (filming the Toss It Up video and recoding All Out, He'll 4 A Hustler and Let's Get It On).

I think Pac viewed the south a lot like he did the west coast - a region that didn't get they props because of east coast bias but had a lot of slept on talent and money makin street cats. I could see him aligning with a lot of them dudes from the south for one nation. He had already recorded with Face and wanted Goodie mob and outkast on One Nation.

True, plus he stayed down South (Atlanta) for a min too, his folks still out there in GA today..
