take away preseason polls period
cause it skews who ends up being in the top 25 anyway

they can keep the BCS ranking system but at the end of the season take the top four teams; plays 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3... then the winners meet; they can add a week and return make more money

That would only work in a 16 team playoff; which they won't do because they either have to severly cut back the season or add to many weeks onto the schedule which they won't cause these kids still in school... and in regards to doing the same in a top 4
I don't like that... in that case Wisconsin woulda made it over Alabama this year... They should keep the BCS ranking system and take the top 4 at the end of the year

so then you're allowing the playoffs to come down to
1. your preseason ranking
2. your schedule
why don't you allow to be all of the conference championship winners + 2 wild cards aka the 2 best teams that didn't win the conference championship???
give the 2 top teams from the 2 top conferences a bye week
then have a random selection to see who the 2 wild card teams play
