The Montgomery bus system had 3/4th black ridership man, will you please think about that. MLK n dem created a whole system of carpools to replace it so ppl could live without it. Hundreds if not thousands volunteered their own personal cars to shuttle people around. Shit crippled the city's finances and this went on for a YEAR until the NAACP won its lawsuit and got a federal court order desegregating the buses.
