Bow Wow is the rare case of a legend that has a lot to prove. You can't deny he's a legend though. He's a vince carter type of legend though. Nigga had them hits, but will get laughed out the room when niggas get to talkin about real work gettin put in.

just cuz u got hits dont make u a legend, sssssheeeeit Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, Kris Kross, Drake, Coolio

these niggas had hits and aint legends

Drake does not belong on that list and yes Drake will be a legend in the future.

You can't compare those guys to Drake because Drake can really rap.

Also Coolio is a legend because he put in a lot of work in the west and by the time fantastic Voyage popped off Coolio was already a well known dude out there. He ain't the best rapper, but Coolio actually has an extensive knowledge of hip hop east to West.he also helped bring out Ras kass.I think coolio managed him.

I'm not Drake's biggest fan or no shit, but I'd be lying to say dude ain't got bars.

I give Bow legend status because he did so much as a kid and was groomed by some of the best in hip hop.

Didn't mean to come off as a hater. Really dont know any of his shit. I know it was all females that listened to him when i was coming up

You gotta admit freshazimiz was a dope track. But Bow wow or Shad Moss whatever he called his self is not a legend. Instead of rapping he should of went more into acting.Lottery Ticket was a good movie.

i think you dissed vince man bow wow more like Allen Houston

I guess it's all a generational thing. I was 20 when Doggystyle came out and didn't give a fuck about a child rapper.

You guys claim he was a big deal between 1998-2003. That may be true amongst teenagers, but adults weren't bumping Bow Wow.

It's tough to classify anybody with legendary status without a classic album, song or impact.

No matter the generation, no one has Bow Wow in their top twenty rap artist or has one of his songs in their top 100 favorite songs.

That nigga was a novelty act, he was some shit white folks could buy for their kids. This is hip-hop's Shirley Temple, just some "cute" shit nobody really takes seriously.

Teens buying albums from a teen rapper at the time... You ain't buying Dusney DVD's for yourself if you're grown.. Your logic is forced here..

Bow Wow had his little moments but I think it's because of his inconsistency to drop good albums that he's left out the category.

Would've been funny to see him and Mr ICDC college go to war.
