I still think that shit don't matter. But it makes no sense buying dvds now since the combo packs cost the same.

Unless the BluRay version actually changes the plot, pacing, dialogue, etc of the movie...I don't give a shit. Got about 250 dvd's and 0 BlueRays.

all you need is a ps3 + hdmi cable + hdtv and you're all set. If you're missing any of that

combo, then you wont notice the difference.

Edit: or just buy a blu-ray player, but you're better off just buying a ps3.

yeah. I currently use the hdmi cable that came with my lgtv when I bought it,

but the knock off one I used to use before I lost it, worked fine for me.

digital signal is a digital signal the only difference is the gold plating...basically the knockoffs might erode after 20 years and the monster cables may last forever....is that worth a 70 dolla price difference ehhhh i dont think so.

Yes and as I recall the plot, pacing and dialogue of the movie was the same as it was on a 27 inch tv playing the DVD.

From my experience the only movies worth getting on Blu Ray are the ones with alot of CGI. Avatar on blu ray in crazy.......
