i first heard of blu on the layover ep by evidence. he held his own with ev and phonte. i been meanin to check out that below the heavens album i heard a few songs but not in its entirety yet.

i didnt know he signed a major thats good but i dont see him blowing up, it would be a very good look though

Seriously, you need to check BTH. If there's an album you need to hear in its entirety, then that one is up there. Exile gives him the perfect landscape to walk on with his rhymes.

Yeah, I don't see him blowing up per se either, but hoping he comes with what he has been doing of late (i.e. with The Roots).

But agreed on CRAAC, I wasn't a fan. J & J has some fans though...

I think his debut album will hold something similar to Below the Heavens, I heard somewhere that the leaked tracks that didn't make the album were incredible (anyone got those?) so it sounds like it isn't going to disappoint.

Yeah good drop, I don't know what it is with me as a listener, but I'll always stray towards the favourite over the new if the new release doesn't capture me the same... but I remember bumping that track a few times, John Lennon!

I've only come across the one version, although on Wiki it stated that Blu's first project was Her Favourite Colour and that it was only re-released later... so I'm guessing it could have changed...
