He's very unusual. He's an anomaly. Because even if we are to consider that many white people can acknowledge that it's wrong how police treat people of color, very very few of them would go as far as to validate and understand how violent uprising resulting in dead cops is inevitable, given the circumstances. He was unequivocal about that, and you will not find too many white people who will go that far to say this:

Maher: No, I didn't say that either. I said that I am surprised that it hasn't happened before. You cannot shoot unarmed people continually without someone firing back. Sorry. That's just the way it is.
