imo biggie had the goat flow...charisma and mic presence may be another issue.

without the other two, then just goes to show how one dimensional he was. Cos the charisma and presence adds to them being a complete package

all t/s was talking about is flow tho.
plus, u don't have to be the "complete package" to be ill. there are alotta rappers that have no charisma and are dope.

Clearly "April Fools" Thread. Biggie revolutionize flow and rhythmic timing in Hip Hop History. Listen to "Hypnotize" and tell me he don't have flow? Are you serious? No Rapper has yet to to have the complete flow Biggie had. He could rap over any style and any beat possbile. Certain rappers have problems rapping over different regions beats. Biggie had a flows for the East, South, West and Midwest. The only rapper in History that can claim that. The Reason for that is his flow. Take the song 'One More Chance'. On the original and the remix, Biggie switches from a speed flow to a slow mellow flow but both songs are Classics. "Notorious Thugs" ended the GOAT Flow Debate. Big got the crown. Hov is right there, he learned a lot from Big as far as flow. But Big had the best flow. Listen to each song on "RTD" and "LAD", Biggie had a unique flow for every damn song which is unheard of in Hip Hop. Most rappers have the same flow on a lot of their songs. You can't name two Biggie songs with the same flow. He changed his flow on every song. Some people may not thing Big is the GOAT but he for sure has the GOAT Flow, everyone has accepted that pretty much. It's unverisal that Biggie had the flow down lock. And yes his "Slow Flow Was Remarkable".

I have to agree with the thread starter. Imo big's flow is overrated. Maybe its me but his flow isn't as impressive as most people feel it is. Em flow > big flow
Jay flow> big flow

Jay Z and Eminem's flow are deadly, no denying that. But Big was better than both. Eminem could barely outshine a rookie Biggie on the cut and paste "Dead Wrong". Jay was fighting for his life on all 3 Biggie and Jay Callabo's as far as flow is concern. Yes Big's voice and delivery helped his flow but it only enhanced his flow. Listen to "BK's Finest" and "Dead Wrong" and tell me Jay and Em have better "FLOW" than Big? Just listen to the wordplay from Biggie and get back to me.

Biggie's/Jaz-O's/Big Daddy Kane's flow gave birth to Jay's flow. Everybody knows this. In the case of "Dead Wrong", I would say Em got Biggie lyrically, but delivery wise, I've never heard Big get outshined on a track. His patterns and timing are impecable.

I never understood the whole "Eminem got Biggie on Dead Wrong". First the song was a leftover track from "RTD" from 1993. Biggie was still rapping with a high pitch voice and was still discovering his talents. In 99' Eminem was a rookie also in the same vein. He dropped a great verse that matched the theme of the song perfectly so with that I give Eminem props for honoring Big's Legecy with a great verse. With that said there is no way he got Big on "Dead Wrong". Big's storytelling alone made him better on the track than Em. Take in flow and delivery along with voice. Big had so much passion when he rapped, you believed every word he rapped cause you could fell him. As great as Eminem verse was, it felt like he was just going for shock value. As soon as Biggie said "Relax and take notes, while I take totes of the marijuana smoke", he had me at Hello, LOL.

yeah people are comparing one of biggies throw away rhymes to something that eminem sat down and had to think real hard about to match the theme of the song 6 or 7 years later. It would be like someone rapping to a song Eminem did that didn't even make it on Infinite and then people be like oooooh shit he killed Eminem son. Well I'd hope he would six years later.

Yea that's why I laughed when people said that. When Eminem dropped he had a lot of hype behind him so people were quick to try and say he got Big. Listen to the track again. Biggie dominated, owned, cut up "Dead Wrong". I can listen to the song without Eminem dispite his great verse. That was Big's song. and LOL @ Eminem 1 verse being better than 2 great Biggie verses. What's crazy was a rookie Biggie throw away track is a CLASSIC song. Think about that. His flow was venomous. It's crazy when I hear songs like "Everyday Struggle" and "Mo Money, Mo Problems" Two different flows but brillant at the sametime. As for the Slow Flow not being Remarkable?:

Biggie slow flow songs:

"What's Beef"

"Big Poppa"

"Hypnotize"

That's just 3, there are many more.
