Let's be honest. "My Last" wouldn't of been a hit without the Classic New Edition Sample that No ID told Sean was hot when he said it was weak and the Chris Brown hook. Yes he wrote it but the fact is Chris singing it made it a hit. "Marvin and C." is only a hit cause KanYe was in it. "A$$" is getting buzz cause of Nicki more than Sean. He needed collabo's to blow. Let's see him do it on a solo song and then we can talk longevity. Even with all those co-signs, a little over 200k. Cole with no hit record did that 1st week. Mac Miller with basically only a underground buzz is on pace to outsell him. Big Sean got a lot of work to do. Drake had Wayne and Cash Money/Young Money behind him. That gave him atleast 500k more sales than he would of gotten as an independent artist. Both have a long way to go to even be in the same sentence as Luda. Also yes Luda is mostly a supporting actor in his roles. The fact is he is in those movies and he's doing big things. "Crash" was a best Picture making him the 1st rapper to be featured in a film that won Best Picture at the Oscar. Luda has been doing big things for years. I always had love for Luda but this beef really put his career in context for me. People don't get he's been doing great this decade.

Luda did not eat NaS and Jada on "Made U Look Remix". But he no doubt held is own. It's doubtful Sean or Drake could do the same with these 2 lyrical beast on the mic. Which is why I salute Luda big time, he's got stripes.

He's average and without the KanYe Co-sign he wouldn't of gotten the 200k he got. He does make some good songs but the jury is still out on his longevity. Drake is different, I don't think he would of went Plat without the Young Money machine but he could of still gone Gold though.
