Look at the online reviews. Look at his Metacritic score. Look at most of the known Youtube reviewers. Only a stan can't see that the album is average. The 2 singles Cole put out are both catering to females. The production was again bland and predictable. Here y'all go again placing J.Cole on this pedestal that he hasn't even reached yet (Kendrick reached it). Sean's peers past him up? Your boy Wiz Khalifa has completely fallen off the map. But you been quiet as hell since that his album flopped lol. Mac Miller and Macklemore over Sean. GTFOH. You the same nigga that said the "Detroit" mixtape was wack when the whole hip hop world was praising it. All his peers past him by but his album is more anticipated than 95% of them. the dickriding is borderline disgusting at this point, in fact I'll say it's beyond disgusting. you ain't even stanning for a rapper worth stanning, cause he's got 1 average ass album and a few forgettable mixtapes. even if you consider cole's albums wack he's still got FNL and The Warm Up behind him, even if you don't like Drake's albums he's still got So Far Gone and Comeback Season behind him, and on and on for the rest of the newer rappers like Wale and Kendrick. what's sean got? buzz? "more anticipated album"? just cause it's anticipated doesn't mean it'll be hot, look at meek mill.

You got niggas in here catching feelings over the fact that people think that Sean has the potential of releasing a good album. Funny part is that it's the same niggas in this tread been hating for the past 3 years lol. Don't even know why you are bringing up all this shit in this thread. Again y'all niggas stay projecting y'all opinions as facts. Forgettable mixtapes? FF3 and Detroit both had impacts on Sean career. Who said I didn't like Drake, Kendrick or Wale? Stop putting words in my mouth. I didn't even call J.Cole's album wack. Called it average which is what most critics thought about Born Sinner.

Dog. Cole's album is the definition of average. I played it for a week and tried to get into it but it's really a chore. Sean just makes more enjoyable music. With all the wack music out I really want to like Cole because he's talented but he just doesn't get the job done.

This coming from someone who didn't like Sean at first because of his cartoonish ways but it's only so long you can front on good music.
