Would you say his album was better then Big Puns?

Thats a tough one.

Both were dope.

Big Pun was a lyrical beast.

But I can't skip a track on Lifestylez Ov Da Poor and Dangerous.

Im not sure but both were great albums.

lyrically it was but big puns was better.

You think it was better lyrically? I can't agree to that I like Big L and I'm old enough to remember his music from him being alive I even saw him and Diamond D perform but there is no way that he is more lyrical then Big Pun

Yea definitely one of the most appealing lyricist ive ever heard. Just weaving words, ideas and concepts together seamlessly with so much bravado. Its shame though that his discog is just what it is... It makes it hard for me to put him on any list other than my own personal top 5.

The boy is sick. Def gotta agree on him being one of the illest punchline rappers but as far as greatest? Def top 50....maybe 40.......he didn't have enough time with us to match his talent.

idk about pun being more lyrical. he had more multi-syllabic rhymes but big l rhymes were just so on point. he has andre 3000s flow with nas lyrical content

Big L is underdog, but O.C. & Lord Finesse were better. They had much more depth and creativity in their lyrics and themes.
