The real question is how many of you so called fans will go to his shows and buy his album?

Exactly, when the nigga flops again most of the cats that Goat'd the OP will be ghost. We go through this shit all the time.

Or they will blame def jam

they will likely deserve the blame

me and the wife went to his show when he came to Denver shit we also went to the boulder show the next day. this was when he did that tour with tito lopez....Krit is real dope live hear The Vent live>>>>>>>>>>>. that shit gave me chills.

Bought two albums....I supported the nigga...still a big fan though....his "first" impression didn't have a wow factor....his mixtapes before the album were better...it might have been impossible for him to meet expectations though....I think he's learned his lessons from the sample clearances and shit....hope he has less features and different features from his usual collaborations....ie luda, and bun b....

I'm routing for my Mississippi brother. I am just realistic. We already had Outkast, Tip, Pimp, UGK, he has a little of all those dudes in his rapping style. I just doubt his ability to stay relevant on the mainstream without making hits. Maybe he does not need the mainstream to stay relevant for 10 to 15 years.

He might be the best out of all the new niggas in the game.

And possibly the most humble ..

Definitely the most humble and seems like he doesn't have time for the industry bullshit. Like he had a brush with fame, didn't like what he saw so he said "fuck it, I'ma just do me". And his music is classic. I play "Bigger Picture", "REM", and "Meditate" at least twice a day. And that's just his newest shit. Keep his other joints in rotation. I can't say that about a lot of other cats out here

Trill niggas already respect Big K.R.I.T art & he is backed by them 1000%
Trill crackas too.

Agreed. I went to his Lawrence, KS show then another in Dallas. The Vent will have you somewhere else, especially when he gets the crowd to start clapping along.

I bought Live From The Underground (I believe it was released the same day as Curren$y's The Stoned Immaculate). I copped both

I've DL'd all his tapes as well.

Shows? Dunno if he's ever come to the UK, but if I'm aware I'd def go

been to two krit shows and bought the album. If it was better it would have sold more, problem was niggas didn't like it so they didn't cop and I can't blame em because it wasn't great.

Krit's album was the first album I bought since 2006 when TI's KING came out and it's the last album I've paid for since. It was worth the money but in comparison to his mixtapes it ranks the last out of all of them. It's not bad at all it's just not really as cohesive as his mixtapes. The songs are good they just don't flow together well

Went to a show in DC and saw him twice in Philly. Got my CD signed and hung out with him twice, really cool dude

he & Janelle Monae have earned the "cop even without hearing the singles" mark for me

Folks already at it

That excuse is played out joe...we all know the score when you sign to a major...the label can't force ppl to like him...he has to drop a single that gets him play

He got lyrics but his production and hooks put me completley of his music if he improved on those 2 aspects i would listen to him. But Lyrics are decent

Cadillactica—how did you come up with that name?

It’s just one of those things that I was thinking about, ’cause in my first [album] cover Live From The Underground, it’s a Cadillac that has crash landed on planet earth. Just the whole storyline of being able to take you in reverse of where the Cadillac comes from. It’s creating this planet called Cadillactica where the soul and the funk comes from and being able to transcend my music with that idea. Diving deeper into what else can I do, how far can I take this record. How I can change these instruments and manipulate my voice; and make my voice an instrument. All these things to me are extremely important to really draw you in, to creatively try to do something totally different with this album. And I think it starts with the base of Cadillactica, you know, the planet of all this.

I’m working on it now, I’m brainstorming hardcore, I’m working with other producers as well. You know DJ Dahi, Jim Johnson, Rico Love, DJ Toomp, Terrace Martin; Organized Noize there’s a lot of other people, too, that I’m gonna get in the studio with. But those are the people for starters that I’ve been working with, that I’m really excited about the content I’ve been able to create.

Toomp, Terrace Martin and Organized Noize are all dope. Jim Jonsin has some dope shit too, but usually he's kinda poppy. Rico love some times has dope shit. Never heard of DJ Dahl
