I like his intensity and sense of urgency.....been waitin for a pissed off Krit....hopefully he carries that attitude into the album.....of course this isn't his first official single....there's always street singles that don't make the album.....

This.

Also, I think Krit has finally done what Killer Mike did a few years back and accepted the fact that he's NEVER gonna be as big as he's supposed to be, and that it's based on things other than how skilled he is. That's good, because once you accept that shit, your music evolves.

"That Control beat is like an uglAnnotatey bitch that everybody done fucked raw

Maybe you hit it

Aww man, I'm more concerned why niggas been textin' my cell

Callin' my phone

Ask me about this Kendrick shit

That he ain't even really even diss me on

I ain't drawn to all this propaganda

Rap shit 'bout as real as Santa"

Another nigga, other nigga name on your chain

And they call me a slave

Damn...this nigga had some shit on his mind

This was an extremely powerful cut. 9/10

However, had he dropped this shit around the time Control was buzzing, I feel like he could have greatly benefited from the exposure. He's on the song airing out his grievances about who deserves to be GOAT, but neglected to move in on such a prime opportunity. He could have completely altered the conversation niggas was having about king of the new school between Kendrick, Cole, and Drake had he been more political.

I agree with every word.^^^^

Gotta remember tho, KRIT an artist, so ain't no telling when inspiration struck for the beat, those verses, mainly that 3rd verse. Can't put a timetable on creativity.

However, for people already up on KRIT music, he was always in our conversation for "King Of The New School".
