Bury me in gold, bury me in gold

Just in case the old man doesn’t know me, and claims that I owe

Bury me in gold, bury me in gold

Just in case I’m forsaken, and I have to pay for my soul

Mane, that’s my song right there. That ending where he speaks articulates my feelings. Lost my sister at a young age, and a nigga would give it all up to see her again. The way homie feel about his grandma is how I feel about my lost.

My favorite artist in the game. Young krizzle!

Sorry to hear that homie. I definitely can relate. I lost my sister this year. Only the homie @BrideofKilla knew about it. I kept it confidential. In the words of Pimp C "If I can give up all of this to bring my sister, then I'll give it all up to see her again".

I wouldn't ave ever guessed right with 100 tries that Mannie Fresh produced 1999

He was one of three people according to Wiki, Bryan-Michael Cox being another notable name

Bryan Michael Cox is never talked about ever. That man has made so many hits and classic songs for your favorite rappers and rnb singers it's ridiculous.

I never heard of em. Anything you can think of that the masses would know

Owe Me Sex (from the Ocean's 7 mixtape)

Promise - Produced by JD; Co-produced by Bryan-Micheal Cox

Let's Get Married - Produced by JD; Co-produced by Bryan-Micheal Cox

All My Bitches - Produced by JD; Co-produced by Bryan-Micheal Cox (this is the grimiest beat I've heard from either of these niggas)

I really don’t expect a nigga like Akademiks to listen to KRIT.

Yea but these guys host a popular rap talk show and frontin like they listened when they didnt.

Maybe joe did maybe he didnt... He didnt seem to have anything to say about the album other than he was happy lloyd was featured.

AK said he listened but then he wasnt even aware there was a track called Aux Cord when he goes on a rant about aux cords in the next segment.

Fakin the funk

Someone said Get Up 2 Come Down reminded them of some old Organized Noize. I was thinkin more Earthtone III. But I can see it now. It sounds like if ONP and ET3 had a baby, this song would be the product.

This album just grows Krit's resume of artists he's worked. A ton of southern greats on one album. I love how artistically people continue to show him love and work with him.

Kind of a let down tbh....im a krit fan and and some of this is killer but theres also like 4 or 5 songs that all sound the same

Put it on spotify and let it go...seems like after the first few songs...its sort of thr same for awhile...then finishes really strong...guess its the 2nd disc that i prefer

Joe probably did listen, but saving the content for his pod.

He tends to give little depth to stuff on ES that he’s gonna touch on the pod. On the pod he stay saying he wasn’t gonna really talk about _______ with Ak and Nadeska.

200k in the first week

Wishful thinking bro, the early projections were 30-35k. I thought it would be higher with the amount of Love it’s getting on social media but I doubt he does anything close to 200k....although it would be super dope if he did. I bought it plus I only listen on Tidal so he at least continues to get the streams.

30-35 is great indy tho, no hit singles, and only a month's notice, plus it basically backs up what krit say when he speak on def jam "well it was like we were doing everything independent anyway"
