Its a cold game but people need to smarten up or play the game. It aint Nike's fault they should do nothing but get all they can get in business. It aint about holdin back. Other businesses can do that if they want.

Why can't lavar think the same way?...

I like that they started their own brand. I hope it inspires more athletes to do the same. Just for about $250 to $300 less though. Too rich for my blood.

I wish more ppl would stop being hypocrits too. They'll spend a band with whitey and laugh at a nigga. That's lame to me.

You can tell his pops was the nigga at the court who was mediocre but talked the most shit cause he been playing at the court for years....

Don't like the brand name, the shoes, or the price, hope he succeeds but don't try to shame black people into supporting. The median black family don't got $ to buy too many pairs. He's at the high end, not for me

lol @sion u dont fuck with Huaraches?

Nah they're just not very appealing to me. I look at em as an "old persons running shoes". I can understand if you workout in them and like the comfort and grip but as shoes to wear ? Naaahhh I'm good, there's much nicer shoes. But aye to each they own playa.

Even many of the jays I don't like very much. The 12s, cement 4s, the 1s, and original color ways are straight I would rock.

growing up i would see my older cousins rocking them and i hated Huaraches, afew years ago a chick i use to mess with copped me a pair them shits sat in the box in a closet for over a year until i pulled them out on a vacation to Miami and been a fan since.

the gotta be the low top joints tho i still dislike the hi top version

Too many sheep.

Not enough willing to test the waters.

Outside his dad bring an ass...I like the heart

I agree with this post 100%.

I would support if the shoe was a little bit cheaper, like around 200+. Almost 500 for a basketball shoe is a bit high.

I wish the guy the family the best and respect the hell out of them trying to do it themselves just like I respected Marbury and Shaq

I'm all for it. The only thing I don't like is (if it's true) the no return policy....and that's because it's online purchases.

As someone who buys a lot of weightlifting shoes from online (where u can't try them on before you buy) I know that some brands run a little narrow (if you have wide feet), some brands a little too big, some a little too small for the same size. If it's a new shoe, I hope they run true size if not there will be problems. Sneakers usually be ok but some brands like adidas fit slightly different on my feet than nikes.

"Why you hating on the black man"

the only things I dont like about this...is

the return....you cant eyeball size from online.all kicks are made different and fit different.

the cost and

the fact he is saying fukk you.

when coming in, you have to come in with a different type attitude.

I have in business ran into white people willing to lost 2 million to stop you from getting 1 million. do not be surprised if his son has an injury from another player who's bank account goes up overnight.

his idea would be good if he was humble...his arrogance will cause him to fail. they are not one in the same and split an make you make dumg decisions.

looking at this interview.....

dude needs to fall wY the fukk back back.

he's pushing his kids to a level they may not be ready for. not saying they won't be good but they will have ti damn near be perfect.

high school

college an pros are very different... rhats why prodigies fail on different levels.

he's wants Lakers cuz they are money makers... Ame reason Kobe wanted to go there.

I hate to say it...but the road up am talking shit people will take it. once you fall..even the cripple kids will roll on you. an I think that's where him an his kids will go there separate ways.

please start recording this....this will be a movie.

which I'm sure dude will Sell.

he's living hus failure thru his kids success while destroying them an their relationship..

Unless you Fred Flinstone out this bitch, the shoes on your feet were probably made in a sweat shop too.

You think Nike the only company that use cheap labor.

no problem with the Big Baller Brand, just wish they had a better looking sneaker , coz the current one for that price is insulting. They didnt even make an effort aesthetically.

I don't think that's what he's saying. But there are smaller brands like Greats or Gustin (more diverse than shoes) that use Italian leather and ethically sourced labor, and don't charge like that.

Lavar is trying to sell image. He is using black empowerment as leverage to sell his shoe but shitting on people that can't afford it. He is calling his shoe a luxury item, but they are not made of luxury materials. So, his approach feels a little fucked up. In particular because he is using crowd-sourcing to pay for the shoes and keep cost down. To some extent, in the same way he is asking his sons to carry his dream, he's asking that of potential buyers. I want this to work, but not for Lavar. I want it to work, so that other people see it's possible.

If Lavar can do it, as flawed as he is, then so can the next man.

I'm split as well. I want the brother to succeed but, at the same time I want my other brothers to be financially responsible. $500 on shoes to prove a point to the next man that you are, indeed, a baller is not the look we going for.
