Beyonce helps Tidal gain 1.2 million subs off "Lemonade" after only 24 hours of exclusiveness

the only people i ever see shitting on Tidal is the techies (blogs, magazine, websites, etc), which i truly believe are in the pockets of Apple, Spotify, etc.

I think these companies understand black people are the biggest consumers and if blacks can control that then it's a problem. They would rather give a artist like Drake a deal, a rapper a boutique label, etc because they know the money is ownership. For whatever they break off on black artist as a endorsement, they are probably making 5 times that off them.

Tidal is living off the Hova Family/lineage. Beyonce and Kanye have exclusive albums and future jr has an exclusive video (ironically his single panda went plat thanks to i tunes and amazon music not tidal). It isn't really saying hey lets look for black people. More black people are signed up with apple music and spotify and pandora and more black people i know use those streaming services over tidal. And when chicago's own chance the rapper needed an exclusive way to drop his tape he chose apple music not tidal.

As far as the actual fans Spotify and Apple music benefit the fan more. College students get a few dollars off of both spotify and apple music with a college email address (tidal give you nothing). Spotify gives you exclusive album commentary for dozens of albums each year. Apple music/itunes gives you podcasts from everything you can think of music wise as well as tech and sports podcasts. Apple music is giving fans a 3 month trial not just 1 month. Apple has a family plan where you split the monthly costs and can have multiple people stream from the same account.

As far as lets look for black people that idea is bullshit. That was never a strategy of Tidal but more of a last ditch marketing ploy after most white people thought tidal was a joke. Remember Tidal has day one shares owned by Madonna and Coldplay's Chris Martin as well as Radiohead, Daft Punk, and many more of the whitest artists outchea. They don't give a fuck about the struggling black musician just those who are already stars. Artists that could prolly get more money signing deals apple music or spotify if they weren't so loyal to roc nation/tidal.

Artists have the ability to make money off touring and endorsements those are always going to gross the majority of the Artists cash. But as far as this streaming shit it is a way for the fans to get better deals on music by paying a small fee per month to listen to shit they want to give a chance. The larger the service the more fans artists can get to pay 25 to 300 dollars plus at concerts or even meet and greets. So if i am an artists why wouldn't i sign a deal with spotify or tidal for a 3 day or 7 day exclusive contract for an album and get millions of more users be able to get my music first versus 5 or 6 million tidal subscribers?

I'm not reading all that bruh. Steve Jobs is dead, you ain't getting in his will.

And hov ain't paying you to prop Tidal up like it ain't late to the streaming party. Tidal doesn't do anything to benefit the fan it only benefits rich artists. The average musican and average music fan gains more for spotify and apple music due to large subscriber base and many types of deals to save you money like family streaming plans and college discounts (longer free trials too).

I'll be honest with you. To me the price difference between Tidal, Spotify, and Apple isn't that much to me to where i'm stressing 1-10 dollars more. With that said i would rather support black businesses and the company who treats the artist the best.

I'm just not a fan of Apple at all. I think their products are overpriced hipster shit.

The support black business bullshit is a farce when it comes to tidal. Hov and Beyonce are trying to become the same monsters Steve Jobs and other corporate greedy titans in our would are. You aren't supporting a black business you are just making a black man richer while he brags about his white friends who say nigga (see Gwyneth Paltrow).

You wanna support a black business support one not so caught up in european wealth and fashion you know like a local small back owned business.

I was watching Fresh off the Boat and the this Asian dude was fucking up and they said "we gotta have our ppl back because no else will" even if it's a messed up situation.

Take my name back the 1.2 mllion includes free trial cats. Unless you can prove tidal has paid subscribers to the amount the bet is void lolol. I told yall niggas tidal shady. Every other service is counting paid subscribers in their press releases. Apple music has 13 million paid subscribers. Spotify is so high i lost count but they give their paid subs and free commercial subs split numbers. Yall tidal stans aka poor sion and gethovas boy witness need to come at me with raw subscriber numbers lol.
