Mase had Ghostwriters

lol Mase was the ghostwriter

for someone who uses laughable evidence to say Ice Cube had Ghostwriters when there been actual songs, articles and interviews in regards to Mase having Ghostwriters whatever man.

How did I know this shit was gonna turn into Cube using ghostwriters lol Writing credits and him admitting he's cool with using ghostwriters is laughable evidence? You're right , cuz I when I seen that shit I was laughin at you mfs who got him in ur top 5.

Where's all this evidence you got? and it better not be that Jay-z diss lol

Unless there another older interview Cube most recent interview said no such thing about being cool with rappers using Ghostwriters the complete opposite and yeah using writing credits is laughable..

I mean I guess Beanie and Camron had Ghostwriters too for the track they did together..

in regards to Mase using Ghostwriters this been a known thing for over decade..

I let Skillz tell it on Ghostwriters

Nosign. Those names in the credits are from the song they sampled. The music/instrumental was cowritten by some 70s band. They get songwriting credit when you sample. Sometimes when a rapper clears a sample the original songwriter makes you put his name and shares the songwriting credit. Other times they don't care so the rapper is the only name listed.

You clearly missed the point on multiple levels.. No shit the two names in the credits are from the sample,

The rappers arent listed. You still have 3 rap verses yet Beanie and Camron name are not listed at all in the song writing credits for the verses they rapped.

So does it mean someone wrote those verses for them aka Ghostwriter? Was it an agreement with the sample clearance (which wouldn't make sense as Rappers are always still credited for the verses they write even over sampled beats) or was it mistake/misprint on the label part.

Hence why I said using writing credits or lack there of from the album as evidence for having a ghostwriter is laughable.

I was looking at the credits for Its On.

The reason Wanted Dead Or Alive is listed that way is because Bon Jovi wanted 100% of the songwriting credit. Rocafella agreed to give up 100% of the songwriting credit because they thought that sample would make the album better.

It makes sense.

But I get your point, you can't use the credits to determine if a ghostwriter was used.

In fact, there's a lot of people out there that don't clear samples at all. By reading the credits you'd think they played the instruments themselves.

When it comes down to strictly rap skills Mase takes it just slightly, Ja has a better music folder, and cosign Harlem world being a classic.

I give Mase the edge & Harlem World is a good album for it's time. Not a classic. That word thrown around way too much about albums pre-2010's.
