Snoop is the definition of mediocre. T.I. only has 2 bad albums (T.I vs TIP, No Mercy), and they're not as bad as Snoop's bad albums.

However, Doggystyle>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

nah snoop has more quality albums wise. doggystyle, tha doggfather, the last meal, paid the cost to be the boss, rhythm and gangsta, tha blue carpet treatment.
T.I. only has im serious, trap muzik, urban legend, king, and paper trail

I just have one question tho..
Does having one great album makes a person CATALOG better??

Yes if that album started a dynasty, put that rapper on the rap, and changed the way a whole coasts raps, then yes it does

Explain...

How many people followed Snoop's path of success on the westcoast after Snoop? Trap Muzik movement was the biggest movement of the last decade. Snoop was never the biggest movement out west at anytime Cube was bigger with the whole acting thing and rapping real early in his career.

Nas nigga you wrong about that. Snoop was the shit until doggfather dropped but until then people was biting the nigga like crazy, sampling alotta his lines for hooks, tryna dress like the nigga and I'm talkin about everybody from Brat to Biggie to Jay Z and lots of other rappers. I don't see what movement or trends Tip ever started. Niggas out here on the west don't even pay that nigga no mind like that. I'm currently tryna call up some homies because of this thread and I'm asking around and I'm getting very Luke warm responces to T.I right now

The Chronic introduced the world to G Funk, and Doggystyle perfected it. Snoop became the face of the westcoast after that album dropped, not to mention it was the most anticipated album in hip hop history. That same G Funk sound has become the sound of underground, as well as mainstream westcoast artist.

G Funk movement>>>>>>>>Trap Musik movement

doggystyle >>

tha last meal >>>>

TI hasnt put out a better album than either of those

the strength of those 2 albums put snoop over TIP

but TIP has been the most consistent rapper album wise the past decade

I can name way more snoop dog hits than I can T.I and anybody that's honest with themselves can too. I can go Atleast 15 deep not even counting the shit he did wit the eastsidaz. I'm havin trouble thinking of 8 joints from Tip

Dope Snoop albums....

Doggystyle

Topp Dogg

Last Meal

Paid Tha Cost

Tha Blue Carpet

Doggumentary

Dope T.I. albums....

Trap Muzik

Urban Legend

King

Paper Trail

No Mercy (feels more like a compilation, but track for track it's fairly consistent)

T.I. Is more consistent, but Snoop has more tight albums (why people continue believe Snoop's only tight album is Doggystyle is baffling).

T.I. started the whole Trap Muzik movement that ran the last decade like I said. I don't see Snoop's influence I always saw more of Cube's influence than Snoop but whatever. As far as you calling people on the west about TIP. Cat's down here that I know don't mess with Snoop and its been that way for a while. He is wack to many for that fake gang banging shit all on t.v. throwing up crip. Just to let you know people I know long went sour on that character.
