Both are incredible pieces of work from both artists. I was very impressed with both. But I go with Lupe, because it start better. Kendrick start ok and got uncomfortable when he start about his dick ain't free. But after that it was flames. So Lupe by a little.

Lol how does everyone not like that skit.

I always skip that shit bruh lol. These artists i swear

So uh... This is the second time in a few weeks T&Y topped TPAB in the polls on here

And i dont see any change. Imo Kendrick will make conscious hiphop non listeners to try LUPE.

He has succeded in making back intelligent rap cool and marketable

Kendrick and it ain't close, more original sounding, put together a lot better too

Can't even get through Lupe whole album anymore, it all sounds the same

Muthafuckas keep saying the album sounds the same but never explain how

The flow is the same on every song, the beats are similar and even the guest spots are the same type of monotone

from a pure objective standpoint... Kendrick had the best album

george clinton is right, kendrick proved that he could become the next prince, the composition of this album is FANTASTIC

To Pimp A Butterfly

t&y was ok, mediocre music with good rapping. TPAB's writing is stellar (production, songwriting, etc)

It deserves its status of "highest rated album since the year 2000"

these two albums are so far apart from each other, from construction to delivery

its impossible to compare. they're too different to compare

"which album was better, Straight Outta Compton or Midnight Marauders?" would be a closer comparison.

and then the fact that the fans of each artist trying to find the negative in the other album to make their

case better, is stupid. both of these projects are about as close to flawless as i've ever heard.

let's just celebrate the fact that we've gotten possibly two of the best albums of all time within a

couple months of each other. and that's less than a year after at least three other spectacular releases

(KRIT, Cole, Joey)

Hol up so the flow on Mural, Tron, and Adoration of the Magi are all the same? Really now

Y'all peeped how he smooth side stepped this question tho. You can always tell who really listens to these joints before they critique.
