Best: Stevie Wonder at the Hollywood Bowl. No explanation needed.

Close second: Outkast during the Aquemini era at Fisk Homecoming. They had a Cadillac onstage and 3000 was wildin out in these huge furry pants. Crowd was goin nuts.

Worst: Pavarotti in Central Park. Way too crowded. Middle age white folk fist fightin over a spot of grass. I bounced before the show even got goin.

The best IMO would be Jay. Have seen him live twice when he came to Greensboro (in 08 & the BP3 tour last year) & didnt regret spending my money. I'm going to see him & Ye later this month in G-Boro again. Busta's energy is crazy & I wouldnt mind seeing him live again. Although he's 1 of my fav MC's ever I was somewhat disappointed by Nas. Nigga was forgetting his own lyrics. Dude asked niggas what songs they wanted to hear and ended up turning down request b/c he said he forgot the words SMH. Just a few of the top of m head that I've been to.

Wasn't DMX there too since the LOX was there? I heard he was or opened up or something like that.

BTW i've noticed that people that haven't really been to many concerts always think that Jay-Z's shows are great. I just think some of you get caught up by the glits and glam of his shows cuz even though he improved Jay-Z has 0 stage presence and not alot of energy, as someone already said they used to say the same shit in '99 when they did Hard Knock Life tour.

I just like niggas with energy or just a good show. Is it shocking that Nas isn't energetic? Dude would look crazy if he wilded out some DMX shit.

But i like shows like the Chronic tour or Up In Smoke tour too where niggas got cars out, got small films before they enter the stage, skeleton head and all that shit. Just a well thought out show that's really planned and rehearsed.

I saw her in June B. Chick was wack no lie and to be honest I was looking forward to it. Her band was in their own world jamming madd fast. I kid you not B that bitch repeated "you might win some but you just lost 1" for 3 real minutes. Do you know how long 180 seconds is when you hear the same 9 words. But that's what I get for fucking with them incense burning crowds.

The best concert I attended was one with a bunch of no names from out the crowd. Aron Neville's grand daughter was there, but she ain't that popular I think. Picture the Apollo where every person that came on stage got a standing ovation. Shit was epic.

Doug E. Fresh is probably the best mainstream artist I've seen so far. Al Green after that. I'm not a fan, but saw Mary J Blidge during the essence fest. She rocked the house that night, I had to respect it.

I'm hoping to catch Ice Cube, Mystikal, Earth Wind, and Fire, and the Low Rider Band before it's too late. I hear they give great performances as well.
