I disagree with the bold. You're basically saying that the epitome of duo chemistry is sounding like DMX on Stop Being Greedy or Biggie on Gimme Da Loot. I don't know about all that. To me, it's much more impressive to have two MCs that are very different but fit together like lock and key. Look at established duos like Outkast, Mobb Deep, Heltah Skeltah, Blackstar, etc... I don't think any of those groups sounds like what you're suggesting, but no one would suggest that they aren't top tier duos.
