Best city in the USA for Black Folks

Columbus, OH is cool. Dallas is where I'd like to end up though. I've been numerous times and loved it each time.

Bruh I just dont ever see myself staying in Dallas. My family loves it but those white people are off the chain there. They still want you in South Dallas or in the little sliver of North Dallas. They are passing racist laws to keep minorities out of their areas.

I have family that has stayed in the Dallas area since the 1970s. My grandfather owned land in Forth Worth since the 1960s. The only thing I like about Dallas is the ease of finding a good job and well............Dallas has everything you would want. It is a major metro. Cheap housing but high property tax. No income tax but ..............tolls everywhere and little property plots.

If you are from some small town or midsize city ie: OKC, Shreveport, Little Rock, Tulsa. Dallas is for you. Coming from a bigger city ie, Memphis, KC, StLouis, Detroit. Go to Houston or ATL.

In DC, if you ain't got it, you pushed into a small section of town that still resembles late 80s DC plagued with the bullshit niggas with families trying to avoid. I'd assume its the same in NYC

Because most people when talking about demographic trends use MSAs and CSAs to describeregions as most city limits are too small to be accurate. Because if we are using city limits then places like detroit, dc, atl need to crossed off the list for sure

last time i was there which was bout 2 years ago i was told its a rough area in the hood spots, all kinda niggatry, but there are more and more jobs opening up, and there are nice peaceful suburbs like flowood which is where i visit

I was actually born in Jackson and I go 3 times a year my parents back there, but it's building in leaps and bounds. Flowood, Madison and anything north is what's happening

As far as DC, If you dont have family here idk why you would live here lol

Niggas get sidetracked by being able to say i make __ a yr, but when you do the math based on the fact you pay ___ a yr in cost of living, its a wash

Thats a lil harsh, a lot of great attributes, still top 5 for niggas, but financially u not doin as much as you think you are unless u got a in (like me, the plug)

And 'DC' DOES refer to northern VA and Maryland as well (not Baltimore. Baltimore is NOT part of the "DMV")

Ain't you from out VA? There's a difference in living actually in the city vs PG or NOVA. Not only in prices but overall quality of living and convenience to being able to move around with or without owning a car which is 10x harder to do if you live too far into PG or VA away from the city line. And that DMV shit is corny. Its for out of owners so they don't get lost and VA niggas who live out there to try and claim it. People actually from here just say what part of the city or PG they're from. Never forget the time I ran into some niggas from out Dale City talking about "We the real DC" lol.
