and then go to a regular paint shop and find the color you want and mix it with the engine paint
those paint kits ain't worth shit IMPO
key tip to make it look nice is to clean your calipers in a good paint stripper (the gel version)

As with most paint, the difference will be in the preparation and cleaning.
They're brakes. They are gonna get dirty.
Clean and prep the surfaces well. With chemical then a brush to get the crevices. Mask off everything.
Apply 2-3 coats to give the thick look
