Hit 'Em Up was the better diss, simply because names were blatantly named. Long Kiss Goodnight was better lyrically, and had better production imo, but i still give the edge to Hit 'Em Up.

...a lot of dots needed to be connected for Long Kiss Goodnight for me to see it as a legit diss, while Hit 'Em Up on the other hand, didn't pull any punches...you knew exactly who Pac was talking about.
