Off the strength of what the original Carter 3 was, and bouncin back after the leak and creating a whole new album which was still solid imo.

Killer mike..I pledge allegiance...imo. Also the renaissance is an underrated album. The preface too, that d.e.m.o.n s track was crazy.

i pledge allegiance to the grind II

ain't nothing fucking with god in the building, but this whole cd was flames well got damn it must be 2 sidessss

Untitled was Nas's worst album to me.

Paper Trail was his biggest commercial success (not even a top 4 TI album to me)

I actually liked 808's & Heartbreak and Ego Trippin...

...but Emeritus was classic Scarface.

Damn didn't see Untitled. I blame the t/s for not including the artist Name with LP title.

I decided to not name the artist at the beginning of the series, cuz if you dont know who the artist is from the title of the album, its not the album of the year.

The Carter 3 was really only good from a beat standpoint though.

The Preface is my 2nd place pick but I love the Renaissance.

Untitled is great too.

Hidden Gems:

bun b - II Trill

bizzy bone- a song for you

fashawn & alchemist- the antidote

Gza- pro tools

Ll cool j- exit 13

Reks- grey hairs

Which LP from 08 do ya'll think has the most replay value to this day?

Good question. I don't know. I haven't listened to an 08 album in a while.

I remember listening to The Carter 3, Untitled, LAX, Theatre Of The Mind, Elephant In The Room, King, and The Renaissance the most that year.

Jeezy's most underrated project to date.

Young deserves mad respect for dropping a socially conscious album like that. He really captured the Rescission era mood, and even got a classic feature from Nas on there.

A lot of people clown the snow man about how he only rap about traps and shit, but over look his realer joints.

I fucked with Untitled, 808s and Paper Trail
