BEING ON TIME...let's talk about it.

90% of the time I am on time, I don't fuck about when it comes to clocks I even know the 24 hour clocks without having to work them out.

Definitely not always on time but I'm considerate and will let you know if I'm running late. Something I notice a lot of people don't do which drives me crazy when I'm on the other end.

Any lack of consideration for my time is a problem.

Punctuality is indicative of your character and the level of respect you have for other people and their time. An inability to be punctual can give you insight to larger character flaws in a person. I do my damnest to be on time for shit and I like knowing that people know I can be relied upon in this respect. If you can't respect my time, then you're somebody I really don't want to fuck with. If more important shit to do then shitting around waiting for your ass. I like always say, if you can't be on time, be early.

Ya'll need to relax and stop acting like you can't get that 10-15 mins back

I slipped into a KFC 15 minutes after it was supposed to be closed and let me tell you the manager was outta her mind. i didn't know the mf was supposed to be closed.

I always show up early or on time when money is involved.

Otherwise it depends on my mood. I like to allow others to arrive first at social functions so I'm usually at least 15 minutes late.

I hate being late, but I also hate being early, so it's a lose-lose for me. But I'd rather be early and always try my best to be early. I have about a 85% success rate.

Most of the time when I'm late, I'm 1-5 minutes late. I hate messing with other people's time. I think it's disrespectful, and I despite disrespect.

Is timeliness a quality you possess? Is it important to you that you arrive on time and prepared for whatever plans you have?

How about in your S/O? Should they be on time and prompt?

If it's one thing I can't stand..it's a late MFer that walks in and acts like its no big deal.

I possess the quality if what I'm on time for is important to me. I'm super early then. I'm also on time if I'm doing a favor, but if I don't find it important I'll stroll in whenever on the function that I'm supposed to attend with zero fucks given.

Yes. She has to be on time at least part of the time or recognize she takes a while to get it together.

I personally can't stand people who make out like being on time or early is a special skill but then can't do shit once they get there on time or early. In school, for example, it used to be a big uproar about me and my sister never showing up on time or being absent. We'd then come in late or having missed three days, get chastised, read in the corner, and we'd pick up shit faster than the kids who were there every day on time.

I'd much rather have an employee that shows up 10 minutes late every day and does 7 hours and 50 minutes of work than a muhfucka who comes in 30 minutes early, does 2 hours, and dicks around for 6 more. And that's usually the case on every job I've had: all the time Nazis are lazy as fuck and mask that with punctuality, and most companies are managed by or owned by people too stupid to see behind the curtain because clock-ins are the easiest stat to look at.

When it's dealing with business, money, or anything formal and most informal situations also, I generally always show up on time or 10-15 minutes early.

Being punctual and having good manners goes a long way.

Stuff like saying ma'am and sir to people who are much older in a professional setting, holding the door open for folks, a firm handshake for men, saying thank you or no thank you etc can take you places that sometimes even your qualifications, professional experience, and accolades cannot take you young turks should know that.

People will remember that kinda stuff a lot of times before they even remember how efficient you were at doing whatever it is you are doing.

I don't care. If I show up, then I will. If I'm late, I'm late, it's not a big deal. Showing up early just to wait is not something I like to do. Getting there on time is the key.
