1.) Dont play conquest, its the worst game mode for new players.
2.) Do not play this game like its call of duty you cant just run around people play this game campy asf and will use the cheesiest spots and tactics.
3.) Have patience, the game has a learning curve it may take 10 hours for you to figure out recoil patterns/control, counters for vehicles, strength and weaknesses of the different classes etc.
4.) Use vehicles they are in the game to benefit you. Learn them, start with tanks. Dont sit right on top of objectives in rush in them, find a angle at a safe distance around objectives.

5.) Play with friends this game is built to play cooparativley in small groups.
6.) This game might not be for you, I hate it sometimes.
7.) Watch these videos when you have time, they are BF4 but as we already concluded fundamentally the games are very similar.
