Movie was dull, the animation was subpar and overall a forgetful movie.

Ok as far as editing how it jumped from the will they/won't they storyline with batman and Barbara was poorly executed. Nobody cared about her playful banter with her gay best friend. She can take on batman and flip him but gets overpowered and almost raped by Paris Franz. And just when her storyline gets interesting it just endsthen the very next scene batman is walking in the prison to talk to Joker.

The animation perhaps not as strong and ending not translating well on Screen. But The movie was direct adaptation of book. I think the outcry of Batgirl is really over the sex shit.. other wise I see no issue with it.

It showed as Batgirl she was pretty formidable/badass and not just a victim

And tells why she quit and it suceeded in that regard. She got to close to Bats which in that line of work can cause problems in judgement. She nearly crossed the line almost beat a guy to death, she knew if she continued, she go down that dark path.

The movie mid credit scene also shows her becoming Oracle so She not just some victim.

Nah. She got put to sleep by this "Paris Franz" summarily Bats has to save her then he belittled her. She got whiny tried to take down Franz by herself only to be outsmarted so Bats had to save her. Bats belittles her again, gets her off the case, tells her she's not on his level and seconds later they fucking on the rooftop.

After all that he dodges her for 3 days and doesn't even want to answer her calls. She continues to mope and whine before finally beating down Franz and then she quits.

Change her name to Birdgirl. She looked dumber in this than she would have being an innocent victim. This depiction is a girl in over her head fighting crime because she had a crush on the mysterious Batman. Shits weird.

And the worst thing is all this happened after being on the job 3 years already. She wasn't even a rookie and everyone was dogging her.

The sex scene is all people are talking about online which is indicative of how good the movie is. It's just not good lol. I wanted to love it but they fumbled the ball. Maybe next time.

Just watched it... super wack... the prologue had very little to do with tkj... made it look like bats didn't care about what joker did to barbara... changed the whole feel of it... and the animation was half-assed...
